The ecological goal method is an approach derived from ontological coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and focuses on ensuring that the goals a person sets are consistent and sustainable with their overall life, both internally and externally. In other words, an ecological goal is one that doesn't conflict with other important areas of your life or your core values. Sometimes we desire things so strongly that we don't stop to observe the invisible price they entail. We focus on the achievement, the outcome, and external validation.
